Getting Started
Welcome to Prism Market! To start trading on the ecosystem's prediction layer, you will need a Hedera-compatible wallet and USDC. Follow this simple guide to get set up.
1. Create a Hedera Wallet
Before connecting to Prism, you need a non-custodial wallet to store your assets. We recommend HashPack for the native experience or MetaMask for users familiar with EVM tools.
Option A: HashPack (Recommended)
HashPack is the leading wallet on the Hedera network and offers the most seamless experience for HTS tokens.
Desktop: Install the HashPack extension from the Chrome Web Store.
iOS: Download HashPack from the Apple App Store.
Android: Find HashPack on the Google Play Store.
For detailed instructions, visit How to Create Your First Account with HashPack.
Option B: MetaMask
MetaMask is the most widely-used wallet, allowing users to store HTS tokens on the Hedera network alongside their Ethereum assets.
Desktop: Install the extension directly from metamask.io.
iOS: Download MetaMask from the Apple App Store.
Android: Find MetaMask on the Google Play Store.
⚙️ Configuring MetaMask (RPC)
When first connecting your MetaMask account to Hedera, you must add a JSON-RPC relay. You can do this automatically via ChainList (search for "Hedera Mainnet") or manually input the following:
Network Name:
Hedera MainnetRPC URL:
https://mainnet.hashio.io/apiChain ID:
295Currency Symbol:
HBARBlock Explorer URL:
https://hashscan.io/mainnet/dashboard
2. Connect Your Wallet
Prism Market supports WalletConnect, allowing you to use your preferred mobile or browser wallet securely.
Click Connect: Hit the "Connect Wallet" button in the top right corner of the Prism Market interface.
Select WalletConnect: Choose WalletConnect from the options list.
Pair:
Desktop: Select your specific wallet icon to send a pairing string or scan the QR code with your mobile app.
Mobile: Approve the connection request in your wallet app.
3. Get USDC (Hedera Native)
All markets on Prism are denominated in USDC. You will need Hedera Native USDC to place trades.
⚠️ Important: Token Details
Ensure you are receiving the correct Hedera Native token. If you are using MetaMask, you may need the EVM Address to view your balance.

Where to Acquire USDC
You can obtain Hedera Native USDC from the following sources:
Option A: Decentralized Exchange (DEX)
If you already have HBAR, this is the fastest method.
[SaucerSwap]: Swap your HBAR directly for USDC (
0.0.456858).
Option B: Centralized Exchanges (CEX)
You can buy USDC on these major exchanges and withdraw it directly to your Hedera address. Ensure you select the Hedera (HBAR) network during withdrawal.
Crypto.com
Binance
Gate.io
Note: When withdrawing from a CEX to your personal wallet, you generally do not need a "Memo" tag, but always double-check the exchange's specific instructions.
4. Place Your First Trade
Once your wallet is connected and funded with USDC:
Navigate to the Markets page.
Select an event that interests you (e.g., "Will Bitcoin hit $100k?").
Choose your position: YES or NO.
Enter your Limit Price (the probability you are willing to pay, e.g., 0.60 for 60%) and the Amount of USDC you want to wager.
Click "Place Order" and approve the transaction in your wallet.
